# What never belongs in a Docker build context.
#
# Docker does not read .gitignore, so every gitignored path is still sent to
# the daemon (and still copyable by a COPY) unless it is named here. The two
# that matter most are fluid/node_modules and fluid/dist: both exist on any
# machine that has run the front end once, both are large, and a stale
# fluid/dist could be copied into an image and shadow the build that image
# just made.
#
# dist/ itself is deliberately absent from this list. The release workflow
# stages the musl binaries and the embedding model under dist/ before building
# the server image, and the root Dockerfile copies them from exactly there.
#
# This file applies to a build whose context is the repository root. The Fluid
# image builds from the fluid/ folder as its context, and Docker reads the
# .dockerignore next to that context, so fluid/.dockerignore covers it.
